A PLACE TO SKATE

Off the Ice is a non-profit organization that will work with organizations and schools throughout the world who are interested in having skating as part of their curriculum. The curriculum has it's own "skates" if needed and will teach life principles encourage achieving success and dreams. If possible, Off the Ice will purchase ice-time from local skating facilities for organizations and schools as fundraising opportunities in conjunction with the organizations curriculum. Off the ice can work with your community to include skating related sports similar to Baseball, T-ball, Soccer, Football and Basketball.

Allison Baver

FROM THE START

The foundations founder, Allison Baver, Three Time Olympic Short Track Speed Skater, National Champion and Athlete Model actually started her career "off the ice" as both and inline and roller skater. She believed that growing up skating, sport kept her out of trouble "off the ice" and focused on winning and being her best on the ice. The lessons and success she learned on the ice helped her achieve her goals in life and sport. It is the values and lessons in sport and sport itself that keep youth out of trouble and on the right path to a healthy lifestyle and achieving whatever it is they want to do in life.
