Off The Ice Foundation

REAL INSPIRATION

These are letters and stories from the people that inspired the creation of the Off the Ice Foundation.

Dear Ms. Baver,

My name is Rose Mary Thach and I go to Hawthorne Elementary School. I am in the 5th grade. I am the second youngest of six children in my family and I am an aunt of two babies! Some of my favorite hobbies are listening to music and playing basketball. I would like to open a foundation for kids to help them reach their goals in life, to grow up and do what they want to dowhat they want to do because you have inspired me to have this great idea. I hope you have fun at the Olympices this year!!

P.S. Good Luck!

Sincerely,
Rose

Dear Ms. Baver,

My name is Brandon Fisher. I'm 15 years young and I started competitive roller figure skating 2 years ago. Skating has influenced my life tremendously, teaching me responsibility, perseverance, good sportsmanship and how to live a healthy lifestyle. It also helped me in meeting new friends worldwide, whether they are from Texas, Australia or California! My biggest achievement was winning Nationals this past year, thanks to my coaches Linda and Hector, my determination and my equipment from Roll-line skates and Edea boots. I hope to work my butt off and maybe make the world team in the future to represent my country in the world championships. This past world championships was held in Freiburg, Germany.
